1st DAY: Montepulciano

Arrival of the group in late morning in Montepulciano. Along the typical hills of the countryside of Siena, the group can admire the vineyards, olive groves and the rows of poplars. Begin of services. Lunch on group’s leisure or in restaurant (if reserved). In the afternoon meeting with the guide (if reserved), visit of the city rich in artistic works and famous for the “Nobile” red wine. The group can also visit “Piazza Pio II”, the Cathedral, “Palazzo Piccolomini”, “Palazzo Comunale” and “Palazzo Borgia”. Transfer in the hotel (Chianciano/Arezzo area), dinner and overnight.

2nd DAY: Cortona, Monte San Savino, Torrita di Siena

After breakfast, departure to Cortona, that is in the centre of Val di Chiana and it was an important agricultural centre. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of Church “Madonna del Calcinaio”, “Porta Santa Maria”, “Fortezza Medicea”, “Palazzo Comunale”, “Palazzo Pretorio” and the Museum of Etruscan Academy. Lunch on group’s leisure or in restaurant (if reserved). Proceed to Monte San Savino, an ancient village located on the west side of Val di Chiana. The group can visit: “Porta Fiorentina”, “Porta Romana”, “S.Chiara”, “Loggia dei Mercanti” and “Palazzo Comunale”. Transfer in the pretty village of Torrita di Siena and visit to the medieval “Palazzo Pretorio” and to the romanic Church “S.S. Fiora and Lucilla”. Transfer in the hotel, dinner and overnight.

3rd DAY: Arezzo

After breakfast departure to Arezzo, an ancient city that rises on a small hill that rises on a basin, where the valleys of Casentino converge. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of the city: the Cathedral, Church “Santa Maria della Pieve”, “Piazza Grande”, the Basilic of “San Francesco”, Church “Santa Domenica” and the Archaeological Museum. Lunch on group’s leisure or in a restaurant (if reserved). End of services.
