1st DAY: Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Piombino

Arrival in late morning in Bolgheri. Start of services. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and begin of the visit of the small centre, characterized by stone houses and shops with food and wine products. The group will proceed to Castagneto Carducci, village dominated by the Castle of “Conti della Gherardesca”, around which has been developed the city centre. Visit of the village, of Church “San Lorenzo, Church “S.S. Crocifisso”, Church “Madonna del Carmine”, and the House-Museum of Carducci, where the poet lived as a child and returned several times as an adult. Visit of “Museo Sensoriale e Multimediale del Vino” with a small taste at the end with a glass of the famous Bolgheri Wine. Lunch in a typical restaurant (if reserved). Transfer to Piombino and visit of the city centre. This is a city with medieval origins and it was an important centre for the Etruscan metallurgy. The group will visit: the “Torrione”, an ancient entrance of the city; the “Rivellino” - a military building; the “Palazzo Comunale”, “Torre dell’Orologio”, the ancient small harbor, “Fonte dei Canali”, the ancient Church “S. Antimo” and the panoramic terrace of “Piazza Bovio”. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

2nd DAY: Suvereto, Geo-Park of “Biancane”

After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of Suvereto, a medieval village rich in art history. Visit of: “Piazza Vittorio Veneto”, “Pieve San Giusto”, “Ex Oratorio San Michele Arcangelo” - which is today the seat of the Museum of Sacred Art, the city wall, Church “Madonna di Sopra la Porta”, “Palazzo Comunale”, “Loggia dei Giudici” and Church “Del Crocifisso”. Transfer to Geo-Park of Biancane, famous for the surface geothermal phenomena. Lunch with tasting in a cheese factory (if reserved) that processes sheep’s cheese with the steam of the subsoil (geothermal energy). At the end, a walking through the Devil Valley in the Natural Park. Return in the hotel, dinner and overnight.

3rd DAY: Massa Marittima

After breakfast, departure to Massa Marittima, famous for his historic and environment heritage. Meeting with the guide (if reserved). Visit of the ancient village, with his beautiful “Piazza Garibaldi”. It is interested the Cathedral “San Cerbone”, the Archeological Museum, the ancient oil mill, the Museum of History of Mining Art, Tower “del Candeliere”. Possibility of a break in a oil mill for a tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and if there is time, visit of the millennial olives trees (if reserved). Lunch in restaurant with typical Maremma menu (if reserved). End of services.
