1st DAY: Livorno, Pisa

Arrival in the morning in Livorno, particular city with multi-ethnic origins. Begin of the services. Meeting with the guide (if reserved). Ferry boat trip along “Fossi Medicei”, canals surrounding the historic city centre, then visit of “Fortezza Vecchia” built in XVI century and a walk to visit one of the most beautiful promenades in Italy. Lunch in a restaurant with fish menu (if reserved). In the afternoon, transfer to Pisa and meeting with the guide (if reserved). In Pisa, the tour starts from “Piazza dei Cavalieri”, proceeding in “Piazza Dante”, “Piazza Carrara”, ”Palazzo Reale” and Botanic Gardens, created by grand duke Cosimo I de’ Medici. Possibility to visit “Piazza dei Miracoli” In the evening transfer in the hotel in Tirrenia area, dinner and overnight.

2nd DAY: Isle of Elba

After breakfast, departure to Piombino and boarding process to Elba Island. After approximately one hour the ferry will arrive in Portoferraio, ancient “Cosmopoli”, city of Cosimo. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of the “Fortezze Medicee”, built by Cosimo I de’ Medici in 1548. From “Porta a Terra” starts the walk to Fronte d’Attacco, an architectural complex that closes to the west the ancient part of the city. The fortification was one of the main defensive poles of the city together with “Forte Falcone”, “Forte Stella” and “Linguella”. Lunch in restaurant with fish menu (if reserved). In the afternoon, visit of Marciana Marina, with the Tower “Pisana Medicea”. In late afternoon, boarding process and return in Piombino. Return in the hotel, dinner and overnight.

3rd DAY: Firenze

After breakfast departure to Firenze, city with which the Medici family had a very strong bond. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of the city: “Piazza della Signoria”, “Galleria degli Uffizi”, “Palazzo Pitti” and Boboli Gardens. Lunch in restaurant (if reserved). End of services.
