Festival of “Sportella” – Rio Nell’Elba – April 10th 2023  

This festival is celebrating every year on Easter Monday according the tradition at Eremo di Santa Caterina. Sportella is a typical pastry from the eastern side of the island.

Festival of Cavatore – Capoliveri - date to be announced for 2023

Festival in memory of the labours of the mines of Capoliveri. This ancient craft is celebrated with a group of people dressed as miners.

Grape Festival – Capoliveri - date to be announced for 2023

Re-enactment of life in the island and of ancient rural traditions. Opportunity to spend three days with the four districts of Capoliveri: Baluardo, Fortezza, Fosso e Torre. The best re-enactment will be rewarded. There will be also tasting, stands and games.

Chestnut Festival – Poggio - date to be announced for 2023

Stands with traditional dishes from the western side of the island, where it is possible to taste chestnut flour bread, pasta with chestnut flour, chestnut bier and many other!
