1st DAY: Costa Smeralda, La Maddalena

Arrival of the group in the morning in Olbia. Begin of services. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and departure for the visit of Costa Smeralda: Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and the coves, famous for the crystal-clear water. Transfer to of Palau, accommodation in the hotel and lunch in the restaurant (if reserved). In the afternoon, boarding for the isle of “Maddalena”. The first stop will be at the isle of Caprera where it is possible to visit the house of Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continuing to the isle of Maddalena, and visit of the antique fishermen village. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

2nd DAY: Castelsardo, Alghero

After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and departure for Castelsardo. Short visit of the city which sits on top of a mountain on the coast side of Asinara. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to Alghero, tour of the beautiful town of Catalan origins, whose ancient part is enclosed by formidable walls overlooking the sea. Visit of “Bastioni Aragonesi”, church of “San Francesco” and the Cathedral. Accommodation in the hotel in Alghero area, dinner and overnight stay.

3rd DAY: Nuoro

After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and transfer to Capo Caccia. Visit of the “Nuraghe Palmavera”, only example built in white stone. Lunch in restaurant (if reserved). In the morning continuing to Nuoro and visit of Museum “Del Costume e delle tradizioni popolari Sarde”. The group has the possibility to see the home of the woman writer, Grazia Deledda, and the civic archaeological museum that hosts two types of exhibits: speleology and archaeology. The church of “Delle Grazie” and the Duomo can also be visited. Check-in at the hotel in Nuoro area, dinner and overnight stay.

4th DAY: Orgosolo

After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and departure for Orgosolo, typical village of “ Barbagia” and visit of the famous “ Murales”. Lunch with the shepherds with a typical menu like: meat, cheese, salami and cakes from Sardinia. In the afternoon, transfer to Cagliari. Stop in Paulilatino to visit “Pozzo Sacro di Santa Cristina”. Check-in at the hotel in Cagliari, dinner and overnight stay.

5th DAY: Cagliari, Nora

After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of the capital of Sardinia. Its centre was built on the top of a large hill and the spectacular view of the coast. Numerous monuments in Cagliari have witnessed the arrivals of many nations that visited this area. The group can also visit the roman amphitheatre and the archaeological museum. Lunch in restaurant (if reserved). In the afternoon transfer to Nora, city of Punic-Roman origins. It is possible to admire mosaics and ruins of the thermal baths, the amphitheatre and the temples as well as different ancient habitats. Time permitting it is possible to see the Laguna of Santa Gilla and Molentargius where pink flamingos can be observed. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. If booked it is possible to go to a typical place where locals give folklore shows.

6th DAY: Barumini, Oristano

After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and departure for the inside of the Isle of Sardinia. The whole morning, the group will admire and visit the Giara di Gesturi that is an uninhabited part of the island where wild plants grow and where wild horses run free of captivity. Transfer to Barumini. Lunch is in a typical restaurant (if reserved). In the afternoon, it is possible to visit the nuraghe centre “Su Nuraxi” in Barumini. Transfer to Oristano. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

7th DAY: Tharros, Olbia

After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) depart to Tharros, a Punic-Roman city right on the Sardinian coast. Lunch at a restaurant (if booked). In the afternoon, transfer to Olbia. End of services.
