1st DAY: PISA
Arrival of the group in Pisa in the late morning. Lunch on group's leisure or lunch in a restaurant (if booked). In the afternoon, meeting with the guide and visit of the Baptistery and the Cathedral. If time permitting it is possible to visit the museum of the Sinopie's and the Museum of the Opera's at the Dome. Proceeding to the coast of Tuscany. Accommodation of the group in the hotel (in the area of Versilia) for dinner and an overnight stay.
2nd DAY: VOLTERRA/SAN GIMIGNANO
After breakfast, transfer to Volterra, “The City of Wind”, which is on the hills dividing Val di Cecina and Val d’Era. Meeting with the guide (if reserved). Volterra is in a mineral area, rich in alabaster and onyx. Visit to “Piazza dei Priori”, centre of the city, surrounded by medieval buildings, as per example the “Palazzo dei Priori”, “Palazzo Pretorio”, “Torre del Porcellino”, “Palazzo Vescovile”, the Dom, the Baptistery and the Museum “Etrusco Guarnacci”. Lunch on group's leisure or lunch in a restaurant (if booked). In the afternoon, transfer to San Gimignano, “The City of the Towers”, which is located on the top of a hill, dominating Valdelsa. Visit of “Piazza Duomo”, the Dom, the twin towers, the old ”Palazzo Podestà”, “Palazzo Comunale”, “Piazza della Cisterna”. Return in the hotel, dinner and overnight.
3rd DAY: SAN MINIATO
After breakfast departure to San Miniato and meeting with the guide (if reserved). The group will visit this Etruscan-Roman city, which was later settled by the Longobards, and they built a church dedicated to martyr San Miniato. Visit of “Piazza Prato del Duomo”, which is the centre of the medieval village, “Palazzo Vescovile”, “Palazzo dei Vicari”, the Dom, “Torre Federico II”, “Piazza Bonaparte” and the Church of Santa Caterina.
