Colourful houses overlooking the sea and on your left rises the Tower of Saraceno built in 1596 by Ferdinand I, Grand Duke of Tuscany. Lunch is on your own leisure or lunch in restaurant (if reserved). Meeting with the trekking Guide. Walking from the Tower of Saraceno southbound, after a series of narrow streets and alleyways along small creeks and along a short stretch of paved road, arrival first to the Golden Beach of the Cannelle and later, through a path that runs along the sea, to that of Caldane. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
2nd DAY: After breakfast, meeting with the trekking Guide .The hike begins along a trail of 2 km that leads to Giglio Castello, Town Hall, located at 405 meters above sea level. Surrounded by imposing walls interspersed with 3 circular towers and 7 rectangular towers, this jewel of medieval architecture remains largely intact today. The narrow streets, often topped by arches and exterior stairs of houses (called balzioli), make of Giglio Castello an evocative and unforgettable destination. The panorama overlooks the campaign where the maquis takes over. Thanks to a path which runs along the ridge of the Central Ridge, continuing South until the group reach the "Sasso Ritto", you can see the common kestrel, characteristic for its flight, which leads him to remain immobile while waiting for the prey and the Peregrine Falcon. Lunch is on your own leisure or lunch in restaurant (if reserved). In the afternoon start of downhill until you reach the beach of the Cannelle. The typical Mediterranean vegetation covers the slopes of the hills that lead to the sea. You can observe the mastic, the arbutus, Myrtle and Heather. Arrived on the coast, you can take a swim or come back to Giglio Porto through the paved road. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
3rd DAY: After breakfast, meeting with the trekking Guide and departure for Giglio Campese for visiting the West coast of the island. A dirt road leads up to a hill overhanging the cliffs of Cala dell'Allume. Through a very steep path the group will have access to the Cove where the rocks have taken a golden colour due to debris of pyrites extracted from the mine above. Coming back, a path leads up to the "Faraglione", a rock spur-shaped, symbol of Giglio Campese. Lunch is on your own leisure or lunch in restaurant (if reserved). In the afternoon, boarding operations to Porto Santo Stefano. End of services.
