1st DAY: Cagliari
Arrival of the group in Cagliari in the morning. Accommodation of the group in the hotel. In the afternoon, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of the Archaeological Museum that contains all the items found in this region thanks to the different civilizations migrated on the island. Visit of the “Duomo”, the Sanctuary of "N.S. Bonaria", and the Roman Amphitheatre. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
2nd DAY: Sant’Antioco
After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and departure to the Isle of Sant'Antioco located in the south-west part of Sardinia and connected to the mainland by a bridge. The attractive beaches with the thousand colours and its uncontaminated waters make this isle one of the most famous parts of Sardinia. Lunch in a restaurant in Sant’Antioco with fish menu (if reserved). In the afternoon, visit the "Tofet", sacred area of Phoenician-Punic origin located on a rock called “Sa Guardia de is Pingiadas” (the guard of the pots), due to the large quantities of ashes urns (ca. 3.000) found there over the years. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. It is also possible to have dinner in a typical restaurant from this region with a folklore show (if reserved).
3rd DAY: Nuoro, Orgosolo
After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and transfer to Nuoro. Visit to the Museum of "Costume e Tradizioni Popolari Sarde". It is also possible to visit the home of the writer Grazia Deledda and the Civic Archaeological Museum which hosts the two areas of speleology and archaeology. Of architectural interest is the church of "Delle Grazie" and the Duomo. Transfer to Orgosolo where the group can have lunch with the shepherds with all the Sardinia’s traditions and foods. Visit of the famous "Murales". Return to the hotel in Cagliari area, dinner and overnight stay.
4rd DAY: Barumini
After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and departure for Barumini. Visit the "Su Nuraxi" nuraghe, the biggest one of the whole Island of Sardinia. The group will proceed to Isili and visit to the Museum “Del Rame”. End of services.
