1st DAY: Bastia
Arrival of the group in late morning in Bastia. Begin of services. Lunch in restaurant (if reserved). In the afternoon, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of the historical centre of Bastia, city of arts and history, with the ancient port, square “Saint Nicolas” and the churches of “Santa Croce” and “Santa Maria”. Accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight.
2nd DAY: Patrimonio, Saint Florent, Calvi
After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved). Departure to Patrimonio, picturesque village located in the southern part of Cap Corse. It is the capital city of the Corsican wines. Stop in farm for a wine tasting. At the end, lunch with typical menu in restaurant. Continuing to Saint Florent, an ancient seaside town. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and walking along the marina, one of the most fascinating of Mediterranean Sea, from where is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of the Cittadella and the colourful houses of the old town. Later, departure to Calvi through a panoramic road on the coastline. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of one of the most beautiful cities of Corsica. Tour of the Cittadella by touristic train (if reserved), panoramic view of the gulf and the district of Marina. Accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight.
3rd DAY: Corte, Ajaccio
After breakfast, departure to Corte, which is a university city and the ancient capital city of Corsica, built on a rocky promontory. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of the oldtown with a touristic train (if reserved). Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, departure to Ajaccio through the “Foresta Vizzavona”. Meeting with the guide (if reserved) and visit of the “Imperial City”, with National Museum “Casa di Napoleone Bonaparte” and the Cathedral “Notre Dame”. Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
4th DAY: Ajaccio, Aleria
After breakfast, meeting with the guide (if reserved) and continuing of the visit of Ajaccio: The Sanguinarie Islands, “Cappella Imperiale” and Grotta di Bonaparte. Typical lunch in restaurant. Departure to Aleria, in the middle of the east coast, where are Roman ruins in an archaeological area and the museum (if reserved); “Matra Forte”, built by the Genoese at the end of XV century, today is the site of the Museum of “Contea di Archeologia”: the church of “Saint-Marcel”, the first built in Corsica. Wine tasting in a farm. Accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight.
5th DAY: Aleria, Bastia
After breakfast, departure to Bastia for the boarding operations. Free time for lunch and departure. End of services.
